Biography

Xian Li is a Senior Quantitative Analyst on the Systematic Investing Strategies Team at Loomis, Sayles & Company, where he is responsible for researching, developing and maintaining systematic strategies in the multi-asset space. He joined Loomis Sayles in 2022 from Eliassen Group, where he was a quantitative associate and researcher developing systematic strategies based on statistical and machine learning techniques. Xian earned a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Science and Technology from Tianjin University and a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a CFA® charterholder.
